Welcome to the DriverWorks Software Development Kit! The DriverWorks Software Development Kit (SDK) provides dealers and partners with the ability to independently develop custom two-way (Serial & Network) drivers to incorporate new devices into the Control4 environment or to customize existing drivers. The aim of this guide is to cover the integration of IC Realtime IP Cameras into the Control4 automated home using the Composer software. This wiki article is specific to the SDDP compatible, certified Control4 drivers which were released on. Ensure that the camera has the latest available firmware installed.
Login to your my.Control4.com account by entering your Email and Password below. Remember that your password is case sensitive. If you don’t have an account, you can create one by visiting the 'Create Account' page and registering your new Control4 system. Licenses and Accounts. I just happened to be installing Composer on my desktop, so I was running a clean machine through the full process...
Had troubles getting 3.1.3 to run, kept getting the 'License not active' error and deletion of .p12.
Did several uninstalls and reinstalls, re-running of 2.5.3 to get .p12, edited config file for LicenseURL check, nothing seemed to work.
Went back to 3.1.0, did meekah, and got reconnected. Did reinstall/update to 3.1.3, and it autoruns which causes the license error. Still digging some more...
Edit: Meekah on 3.1.3 results in Composer not running. No error messages, just immediate close.
Edit 2: My controller is still on 3.1.0, so I've never been beyond that. I can confirm I was able to update Composer to 3.1.2 572507. I was watching the ComposerPro.exe.config file as the install happened, and reset LicensingURL and DealerAccountLocatorURL to false while it was installing. 3.1.2 launched without issue, and I'm able to connect to my 3.1.0 controller.
Edit 3: Yup. Tried to do 3.1.3 update after a successful 3.1.2 and re-entered the <Web> properties before launch, and got the license error trip. Looks like a lot of other things in the config changed. Going to go back to 3.1.2 and compare the differences.

- snapshot/camera view rebuilt to improve speed and stability for T3 touch screens and TV display.
- added the ability to deliver automatic component updates for T3 Touch Screens and the on-screen TV interfaces. (Like Neeo remote) how does this work?
- Access agent supports assigning permissions to a specific T3 or TV. Use Identity, Access agent, and UI Config agent. Adds permissions for Favorites, Sessions, media sharing, Room/All Filter, & can now lock a touch screen or on-screen interface to prompt for a pin code for access.

Hey brians2803, I did a quick compare of the file you have attached vs the 2 changes (dealer and license check = false) we do on the other file and it has a lot of items removed. One item removed was the drivers web location. Are you still able to access and add new drivers from the online database within Composer? It would be best if we could see exactly what needs to change in the file so that we can keep track of the specific config changes. Do you think all the modifications are needed in your config or do you think we could get it down to a couple of items? I'm not sure the full impact. Thanks for the info.

You will have to set up a user on the controller and set it as admin and patch the controller to get it to work better to do before upgrade is to set up user on main controller the admin user
